Life Media is the owner of Natural Life magazine, www.NaturalLifeMagazine.com, www.NaturalChildMagazine.com, www.LifeLearningMagazine.com and The Alternate Press book publishing imprint. At Life Media, we value your trust as well as your privacy. No information is taken from you unless you volunteer it. We guarantee that any information you provide in communication with us will not be used for any purpose other than that for which it was given, without your explicit consent. We also take care to restrict internal access to the information you provide to us. Only people who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) have access to personally identifiable information. All personal information stored either in hard copy or electronically is kept in a secure environment.

The fundamental use of the information we collect is to respond to and fulfill your needs as a customer or prospective customer. In other words, the information is used by us to send you the magazines or other products you have ordered, to process your payment, to fulfill your request to enter a contest, to acknowledge your interest in participating in a survey, or to resolve the customer service matter or other inquiry you have brought to our attention.

Information from Magazine Subscribers

We request specific information from you when you subscribe to one of our print or online magazines. This includes contact information (like name and shipping address or email address in the case of an online edition) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your subscription order. If we have trouble processing an order or your print magazine is returned by the postal service, any contact information that you have provided beyond name and shipping address is used to get in touch with you.

In order to fulfill your subscription, your name and mailing address are seen by the companies that process our mailings. These companies have, under Canadian law, agreed not to retain, share, store or use this information for another purpose.

When your subscription is near to expiration and/or has expired, we will use the contact information you have provided (name, shipping address, and/or email address) to inform you that it is time to renew your subscription

You may also periodically be informed about new products, services or upcoming events offered by Life Media. Print subscribers may request that they be excluded from from such mailings; online edition subscribers will receive the monthly Life Media newsletter as well as bimonthly notices regarding their online subscription.

Information from Website Visitors

We do not use cookies to collect information about visitors to our websites. We do use Internet Service Provider (IP) addresses from our log files to analyze trends, administer the site, and gather broad anonymous demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information, so while we will share anonymous aggregated demographic information with our advertisers, this is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

The Life Media websites contain links to other sites, including those of paid advertisers. Please be aware that Life Media is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by Life Media.

Information from Surveys

From time to time, Life Media may invite website visitors and/or magazine readers to participate in surveys. In this context, we may request demographic information (age, household income level, etc.) along with basic information regarding your reading or other interests and how Life Media may better serve those needs.

Demographic and other information volunteered in connection with surveys is used primarily for internal purposes to improve the company's responsiveness to customers' wants, needs, interests, opinions and suggestions. The aggregate results of such surveys may be published. Demographic information volunteered via surveys is entered "blind" with respect to any personally identifiable information provided by individual survey respondents, and is not linked in any way with such information.

Information from Product Purchasers

When you purchase a book from Life Media, we request specific information from you in order to process your payment and fulfill your order.
